Case summary
The Insider journalist. In July 2024, he was included in the register of "foreign agents". On 17 March 2025, Ezhov's parents were searched. It became known that a case was opened against him for evasion of the duties of a "foreign agent". Later, it was reported that the case also includes charges of participation in the activities of an extremist organisation and financing of extremist activities due to cooperation with the Anti-Corruption Foundation. On 1 November, Ezhov was sentenced in absentia to six years in prison.
