According to the court, from August 19, 2022, to October 15, 2024, while residing in St. Petersburg, the defendant, being fully aware that on June 16, 2022, the Samara Regional Court had issued a decision banning the activities of the interregional public organization "Citizens of the USSR" and recognizing it as an extremist organization whose activities are prohibited in the Russian Federation, acted as an organizer of the said extremist organization. With the aim of continuing its operations, she repeatedly (at least seven times) organized and participated in videoconferences via the “Zoom” program for members of the extremist organization from multiple regions of the Russian Federation. Recordings of these videoconferences were posted online on publicly accessible channels, where the organization’s activities were discussed, documents and orders were created, reviewed, and approved, and participants’ roles and positions were distributed. During these meetings, plans were developed and conditions were created for unlawful extremist activities by the organization’s members and supporters. Voting was conducted among the participants to approve discussed matters, during which the defendant, among other things, presided over the conferences, granted speaking rights to participants, and reported on her own actions aimed at continuing the unlawful activities of the extremist organization "Citizens of the USSR". She prepared and stored the organization’s documentation, repeatedly produced and distributed materials of extremist content by sending letters to various municipal and state authorities and ministries of the Russian Federation, as well as to organizations of different forms of ownership. She administered a publicly accessible VKontakte social media page, where she repeatedly posted videos calling for participation in the activities of the extremist organization and shared a publicly accessible link containing information about the organization’s activities. She also repeatedly involved other persons in the organization’s activities, that is, engaged in persuasion, recruitment, and inducement of an indefinite circle of individuals to participate in the activities of the extremist organization "Citizens of the USSR".
