According to initial data, the reason was publications on his page on social media VKontakte and on his YouTube channel devoted to Arnold Schwarzenegger's appeal to Russians. Later, Filippov wrote in a letter published by the "Politzek-Info" (PolitPrisoner-Info) project that the case against him was launched because of the video "The war between Russia and Ukraine: a view from the side of a Ukrainian", which he published on his YouTube channel.
