Ullubii Gadzhiev

From approximately 2008 to April 2017, with the exact dates not established by the investigation, U.M.-S. Gadzhiev, being aware of the Decision of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation No. GKPI08-859, and realising the public danger of his actions in the form of participation in a religious association whose activities had been banned due to extremist activity, foreseeing the inevitable socially dangerous consequences in the form of the revival and continuation of the activities of this religious association, and desiring such consequences, without renouncing the goals and objectives he pursued, took part in the activities of the local religious organisation (LRO) “Nurcular,” in respect of which a court decision prohibiting its activities on grounds of extremist activity had entered into legal force. With the aim of reviving and continuing the activities of the LRO “Nurcular” on the territory of the Russian Federation, he periodically participated in “darses” — gatherings devoted to the study of the ideological sources of the LRO “Nurcular.” Thus, through his actions, U.M.-S. Gadzhiev engaged in the activities of a religious association in respect of which a court had issued an enforceable decision prohibiting its operation due to extremist activity, constituting the offence provided for in Part 2 of Article 282.2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation..
