Case summary

A resident of Kazan. On 18 May he was detained at the Moscow airport when he was going to fly to Georgia. According to his sister, Glebov was forced to buy a ticket to Kazan with his own money and was detained on arrival. The next day he was searched at his home as part of a criminal case on incitement to mass disorder. The young man was ordered to appear on 20 May for questioning as a witness. However, then a criminal case of attempted participation in an illegal armed formation was opened against him and he was taken into custody.

The reason for the case was his comment under one of the videos of Aleksei Arestovich, who was then an adviser to the Ukrainian president: Glebov wrote about his intention to help Ukraine. Then came the information that, according to the investigation, while in Armenia at the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Glebov contacted the military attaché of Ukraine with a request to be accepted into the "International Legion", and later allegedly received recommendations on leaving Russia and obtaining a Ukrainian visa. Later it became known that he was also accused of spreading deliberately false information about the Russian Armed Forces.

On 17 October 2025, Glebov was sentenced to 8 and a half years in a strict regime colony.
