Case summary

A pensioner. In 2014, she openly opposed the annexation of Crimea. In 2022, a case was brought against her for desecration of a burial site. She admitted guilt, saying that she did it "out of a sense of revenge and compassion for the Ukrainians". Goldenberg was taken into custody. On 7 June 2022, she was sentenced to two years in an open prison. Presumably, she was released in November 2023.
