Case summary
Blagoveshchensk resident. In October 2017, a listening device was installed in Golik's house. This became known after a search that took place in July 2018. In July 2021, Golik was charged with participation in the activities of an extremist organisation because of her involvement in the Jehovah's Witnesses community. Representatives of this community are prosecuted under extremist articles solely for religious activities: meetings, joint worship services, and attracting new supporters. Golik undertook a recognisance not to leave the country. On 6 December 2024, Golik was sentenced to two and a half years of forced labour.
