According to the "CHVK Media" (PMC Media) telegram channel, a case was initiated for alleged involvement in the Right Sector - organization, previously recognized as an extremist one. The telegram channel also mentioned some "comments and statements" of Goncharova in support of "her compatriot" (she was born in Ukraine). The Regnum publication, citing the local FSS department, wrote that Goncharova "demonstrated through social networks symbols of the extremist organizations banned in Russia "Ukrainian National Assembly - Ukrainian People's Self-Defense (UNA-UNSO)" and "The Trident of Stepan Bandera" and promoted extremist ideology among her friends."

As telegram channel “ChVK Media” states: “”Valkiria Bandery” Viktoria Goncharova (Kutz) was detained in Adygeya. Having heard screech of her tribesmen turned up under the onslaught of the punishing sword of the armed forces of the Russian Federation she hissed with comments and statements in their support. As an outcome a fulminant response of the law enforcement of Adygeya – detention and a criminal case under p.2 art.282.2 of the Criminal Code of Russia for the participation in the activity of the extremist organisation “Pravy Sektor”.
Goncharova was put in custody, the case was initiated on articles about the participation in the activity of the extremist organisation and dissemination of the deliberately false information about the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. On 2 June 2023 she was sentenced to 6,5 years of detention.
