Case summary
Ukrainian military personnel. On 10 September 2024, he was captured in the Kursk region. The captured military men were insulted and forced to praise the Russian Airborne Troops and Putin on video camera. A case was opened against Khayuk for committing a terrorist act - this was how the actions of the Ukrainian military in the Kursk region were qualified. On 5 March 2025, he was sentenced to 17 years in a strict-regime penal colony.
