Case summary

A resident of Bryansk. On New Year's Eve, she burned her Russian passport. After the video of the burning hit the web, Hoffman began to be trafficked by z-channels, claiming that she had done it in support of the Ukrainian armed forces. Later, the girl said that she was drunk and burned the old and invalid document "for fun", as she had recently received a new one

A criminal case was opened against Hoffman for abuse of the coat of arms of the Russian Federation and intentional infliction of moderate harm to health - it was reported that on New Year's Eve the blogger beat up her friend. On 3 January 2024, the court sent Hoffman under house arrest until 2 February, and also banned her from using the internet and telephone. On 19 July 2024, she was sentenced to two years and three months' restriction of liberty. On 4 October 2024, the court of appeal commuted the sentence to a year in a penal colony. In June 2025, Hoffman was allegedly released.
