Luz del Carmen Ibáñez Carranza is the First Vice-President of the International Criminal Court. A criminal case was opened against her on charges of knowingly bringing criminal proceedings against persons known to be innocent, involving accusations of serious crimes, unlawful detention, and attempted assault on a person enjoying international protection, in connection with the prosecution of Vladimir Putin and Maria Lvova-Belova, the Presidential Commissioner for Children’s Rights.
