According to the investigation, driven by political hatred towards the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, as well as towards Putin as Supreme Commander-in-Chief and President, he published two videos on his YouTube channel on March 17 and 18, 2022. The videos were titled "Putin celebrates the death of children in Ukraine" and "I was betrayed. Putin's seizure over Biden's words and the war in Ukraine," in which he discussed the missile attack on the Drama Theatre in Mariupol and the deaths of Ukrainian civilians.

Full summary
A popular YouTube blogger. In 2017, he left Russia after one of his videos was required to be checked for inducement to suicide (Article 110.1 of the Criminal Code). In September 2022, it became known that Ivanov had been charged for "fakes" about the Russian Armed Forces. On 23 September 2022, the Ministry of Justice included Ivanov in the register of "foreign agents". In December, he was put on the wanted list. Initially, the case was opened under the 1st part of Article 207.3 of the Criminal Code, but in April 2024 the charge was reclassified to distribution of military "fakes" motivated by political hatred (item "e" part 2 of Article 207.3 of the Criminal Code). On 7 May Ivanov was arrested in absentia. On 21 October 2024, he was sentenced in absentia to 8 years.
