Case summary
A resident of Novokuznetsk. She worked as a florist, at a bakery, and helped animals. In a letter from the pre-trial detention centre she wrote that at the time of her detention she had 16 sick animals in her care. A case was opened against her for spreading deliberately false information about the Russian Armed Forces because of a publication in which she accused the Russian military of crimes in Bucha and called on them to lay down their arms and refuse to serve. No later than November 2024, Ivanova was taken into custody. In April of 2025, the case went to trial. On 13th of August, 2025, Ivanova was sentenced to five years' imprisonment in a general regime penal colony.
