Case summary

On 9 June 2020, she was detained after a search, sent to house arrest by court order on 11 June. Charged with participation in the activities of an extremist organisation. On 25 October 2021, sentenced to three and a half years in a general regime colony. On 22 December 2022, the court of cassation slightly changed the restrictions after serving the sentence: if earlier it was forbidden to leave Astrakhan, now the court allowed her to choose a settlement to live independently. On 11 June 2024, Ivanova was released.
