Case summary

A resident of the Ulyanovsk region. He was prosecuted for insulting the memory of the defenders of the Fatherland because of the publication of an image popular among opponents of the collapse of the USSR, which is usually accompanied by the text "During the Second World War, St George's ribbons were awarded only to Vlasov, who fought on the side of the NAZISTS, in the RUSSIAN Corps". Ivanovsky was given a covenant not to leave the country. On 30 January 2026 he was sentenced to two years of forced labour.
