The reason for Ivanovsky's prosecution was the fact that on 9 May 2023, he published an image accompanied by text with the coat of arms of Nazi Germany with the St. George ribbon tied on it, as well as a photograph of collaborator Ivan Kononov. This is an image popular among deniers of the collapse of the USSR, which is usually accompanied by the text "During the Second World War, St George's ribbons were awarded only to Vlasov's RUSSIAN corps, who fought on the side of the NATIONALS".

Full summary
A resident of the Ulyanovsk region. He was prosecuted for insulting the memory of the defenders of the Fatherland because of the publication of an image popular among opponents of the collapse of the USSR, which is usually accompanied by the text "During the Second World War, St George's ribbons were awarded only to Vlasov, who fought on the side of the NAZISTS, in the RUSSIAN Corps". Ivanovsky was given a covenant not to leave the country. On 30 January 2026 he was sentenced to two years of forced labour.
