Case summary

Resident of Tula. In 2015, he was convicted under the article on robbery for assaulting his own grandmother. He was released in 2022. (We do not consider this prosecution to be politically motivated).

On 22 January 2025, it became known that a case was opened against him for participation in the activities of an extremist organisation, namely the "International LGBT Movement", as well as the distribution of pornography. It was reported that he urged representatives of the LGBT community to fight for their rights. Later, the outlet Myslo reported that the reason for the extremist charge was an LGBT-themed public page that Ivaniuk had created in 2023.

On 26 September 2025, the court sentenced him to two and a half years of suspended imprisonment.
