Sergey Kamensky

Maxim Lavrentiev and Sergey Kamensky are the hosts of the YouTube blog "Don't Be Inert". On 28 April 2020, the bloggers participated in a raid to combat improper parking. Between the activists and the driver of one of the parked cars there was a conflict. According to the version of the investigation, Lavrentiev sprayed pepper gas from a canister in the direction of the driver, and Kamensky — in the direction of the passenger. In connection with this incident, the bloggers were charged with hooliganism (part 2 of article 213 of the Criminal Code). Also Lavrentiev was charged with the article on the use of violence against a representative of the authorities (Part 2, Article 318 of the Criminal Code). According to the prosecution, on 5 June 2020, Lavrentiev used a gas canister against an FSB officer while filming a story near the building of the Kemerovo Department of the Federal Security Service. In February 2020, it became known that a case was brought against the activists under the article on incitement to hatred or enmity (Paragraph(s) C Part 2, Article 282 of the Criminal Code). The investigator stated that Lavrentiev had created an organised group aimed at discrediting law enforcers, and Kamensky and fellow blogger Anatoly Sadovin were members of this group.
