Case summary

A resident of Kemerovo, blogger. On 28 April 2020, he videotaped an incident involving the hosts of the blog "Don't Be Inert" Maxim Lavrentiev and Sergey Kamensky, which later became the reason for a criminal case of hooliganism against the latter. On 26 June, Sadovin was detained. In February 2021, a case of incitement to hatred was brought against him as a member of an organised group created to discredit law enforcers. Sadovin is under a non-deportation and non-disclosure undertaking (as is his lawyer). On 16 August 2024 he was sentenced to three years suspended sentence.
