According to the investigation, "he said that he found data about the legion on the Internet, then received the necessary instructions via messenger, and travelled to Ukraine. Arriving in the combat zone, after only five days of shooting training, he was sent by the Ukrainian side to guard a facility, where he engaged in combat with Russian troops and soon surrendered as a prisoner".
