Case summary
A resident of Karachay-Cherkessia, a mountaineering and mountain skiing instructor who organises treks in the Caucasus mountains. In September 2021, an instructor with this name participated as a guide in the tragic ascent of Elbrus, which killed five people. Through his actions Kipkeev was able to save some of the people in the group, but he himself was seriously injured. In March 2023, he was sentenced in a case of making or distributing pornography on the Internet, details are unknown.
In April 2024, it became known that a criminal case was opened against Kipkeev for spreading fake information about the Russian Armed Forces. On 28 December 2024, a verdict was handed down, details unknown.
