Case summary

Vladimir, born in March 1946 in Lviv, Ukraine, has a younger sister and brother. During his childhood, he developed a passion for sports, successfully participating in running competitions.

Between 1956 and 1968, Vladimir pursued his education, attending the Orenburg Suvorov School and later studying in Kazan. He eventually graduated from Yeysk Aviation School, earning a diploma of higher education. In 1968, he began his service in Zabaykalsky Krai and retired as a captain in 1976. Subsequently, he worked for eight years at a northern mine and currently relies on his retirement pension, facing challenges due to an illness that has restricted his activities.

Vladimir has resided in various cities, including Uralsk, Orenburg, Kazan, Yeisk, Magadan, Salsk, and Mosty (Belarus).

In 1979, he married Zinaida, who was raising a daughter. Later, a son and another daughter were born to the couple. Zinaida, employed in the trade sector and cleaning, faced health challenges, prompting the couple to move to Vyselki in the Krasnodar Krai, where Vladimir still resides. In his leisure time, he enjoys walking, tending to his vegetable garden, and caring for his pet parrot.

Since 1995, Vladimir has been a member of Jehovah's Witnesses.

In 2020, he experienced the loss of his beloved wife, and in 2022, he found himself facing criminal prosecution due to his religious beliefs.
