Case summary
A resident of Bor (Nizhny Novgorod Region). A case was brought against him for insulting the memory of defenders of the Motherland because he questioned the veracity of information about the exploits of Alexander Matrosov and Alexander Maresiev. On 11 September 2024, Konstantinov was fined four million rubles. The decision also implied the seizure of Konstantinov's car in favour of paying the fine. The appeal court removed this paragraph from the charge.
