Case summary
In the fall of 2022, he was drafted into the military. Before being sent to the war zone, he fled from a training camp, after which he lived at home with his mother. In January 2023, after an investigator made him a phone call, Konstantinov came to a department of the Investigative Committee and fully admitted his guilt, saying that "it is better to go to prison than to the frontline." On May 23, the court sentenced him to five years in a general regime penal colony.
