Case summary

Ilya is a media manager, blogger, ex-editor-in-chief of Afisha magazine, ex-editor of Meduza, ex-executive manager of Yandex.Lavka and creator of the Help Service project. He has left Russia. He was declared wanted on suspicion of disseminating "fakes" about the Russian army. On 29 June 2023, he was sentenced in absentia to eight years' imprisonment.
