According to the investigation, "in the period from January to June of 2024", the defendant "being assigned a role in the extremist community, carried out his criminal activities by filming videos and photos and their subsequent posting by unidentified persons on the Internet, including on the YouTube video hosting channel Navalny LIVE, on the channel Navalny's Team on the social network Telegram". In addition, "in the period from January 27th to June 17th of 2024", "he interviewed people using video recording, asking provocative questions in public places in Moscow and the Moscow region with the aim of discrediting the current government". He received "money and cryptocurrency from unidentified participants of the extremist community and other persons involved in the activities of the FBC(ACF)" for fulfilling the instructions of Ivan Zhdanov, Nina Volokhonskaya "and other unidentified leaders and participants of the extremist community, in the framework of the implementation of the previously mentioned joint extremist activity, as well as for the expenses incurred to support it".
