Case summary
Resident of Yoshkar-Ola. On 3 May 2023 he was brought as a defendant in a case of organising activities of an extremist organisation due to his involvement in the Jehovah's Witnesses community. Kulikov is on his own recognisance.
Representatives of the Jehovah's Witnesses community are prosecuted under extremist articles exclusively in connection with religious activities: holding meetings and worship services, attracting new supporters.
On 13 February 2025, Kulikov was sentenced to a fine of 600 thousand rubles.
