Case summary
He lived on Sakhalin and was a member of a strikeball club. In April 2020, he was detained and taken into custody on charges of participation in a terrorist community and possession of weapons and explosives. Lesnoy claimed that during the search he was planted with a tube with wires. The same tube was found during the search of another person prosecuted in the case, Alexander Kozin, and the law enforcers handled it carelessly during the search, while the explosion technician said that it was a safe device. Those close to Kozin speculate that the reason for the case was his nationalist public. On 8 June 2022, Lesny was sentenced to 18 years in a strict regime colony.
