Case summary
A lawyer who represented the interests of those prosecuted in political cases, in particular Alexei Navalny. On 13 October 2023, searches took place at his home and in the office of the Dalet Bar Association. On the same day, Liptser was taken into custody in the case of participation in the activities of an extremist community.
He has vascular problems, which he has reported in letters.
On 17 January 2025, Liptser was sentenced to five years in a general regime colony.
