Case summary
On 29 September 2021, he was detained in Brest (Belarus) after being placed on the international wanted list on charges of organising activities of an extremist organization. On 1 October, he was taken into custody by decision of the local court. On 14 October, the Prosecutor General's Office of Belarus refused the Russian authorities' request to extradite Lonshakov, and he was released.
