The reason for the prosecution was a repost of a video by oppositionist Maksim Kats "Bucha. A special operation to exterminate local residents". Full summary
Resident of the Kostroma Oblast. Studied at the Vologda Institute of Law and Economics of the Federal Penitentiary Service. In 2017, he attended a protest, after which the management of his faculty began to pressure on him to expel. He was promised that he would not have to pay off the cost of education if he dropped out of his own accord. He left after finishing the third year, but the Federal Penitentiary Service (FSIN) filed a lawsuit demanding almost 1.7 million rubles from him. The court ordered Losyakin to pay only 200,000 rubles. Mediazona noted that the FSIN paid for his studies, and afterwards he would have been obliged to spend five years in the service. Losyakin left Russia in September 2022.
A case initiated against him for spreading deliberately false information about the Russian Armed Forces. On 9 October 2024, Losyakin was sentenced in absentia to six years' imprisonment.
