Case summary
In July 2017, after searches in Vyacheslav Maltsev's "people's house", it became known that the politician was prosecuted for calling for extremism. Maltsev left Russia. In August, he was charged in absentia. On 10 October he was arrested in absentia and put on an international wanted list.
