Case summary

Commander of the Georgian National Legion fighting on the side of Ukraine. In October 2023, he was put on the wanted list in a case of mercenarism and recruitment of mercenaries. Later it became known that he was also accused of inciting hatred and spreading deliberately false information about the Russian Armed Forces. On 26 November 2024, Mamulashvili was sentenced to 23 years in a strict regime colony.
