Case summary

A resident of Yekaterinburg, a student of the railway transport college of the Ural State University of Railway Transport. Detained on the night of 25 February 2023 after writing "insults" against the Novator design bureau on the wall. His dorm room was then searched. Police found parts of an explosive device and "Ukrainian leaflets" in Mangasarov's possession. He was taken into custody on charges of preparation for a terrorist attack and possession and manufacture of an explosive device. A charge of undergoing training to carry out terrorist activities was later added to the case. On 11 April 2024, he was sentenced, details are unknown.
