Case summary

Resident of Tyumen. On 5 March 2022, his home was searched. He was accused of calling for extremism because of a video he recorded after detentions at an anti-war rally, in which he said that police officers who use violence against protesters should be put on the electric chair. Martyushev was taken into custody. On 30 January 2023, he was sentenced to three years in a penal colony. He was released in August 2024.
