Case summary

A resident of Taganrog, a veteran of the war in Chechnya. He was prosecuted for "fakes" about the Russian Armed Forces because of a comment on "VKontakte" about the Russian army killing civilians in Ukraine. On 10 August 2022, Mishin was sentenced to a five years' suspended sentence. Disability (no left leg) and a dependent minor were considered to be mitigating circumstances.
