Case summary

Resident of the Amur region. On March 21, 2019, he was detained after a search in his home and charged with involvement in the activities of an extremist organisation in connection with his involvement in the activities of the Jehovah's Witnesses community. Representatives of this community are prosecuted under extremist articles solely because of their religious activities - holding meetings and worship services, engaging new supporters. Moiseenko was released on his own recognizance.

On July 14, 2021, he was sentenced to a six-year suspended sentence.
