Case summary

A presenter of the "Dozhd" TV channel. In 2022, she left Russia. On 21 July 2025, Baza and RIA "Novosti" reported that she was prosecuted for spreading "fake news" about the Russian army because of posts in her personal Telegram channel about strikes on Odessa published in 2022 and 2023.

In November 2022, Mongait was added to the list of "foreign agents". After that, Moscow courts fined her four times in administrative cases for non-compliance with "foreign agent" legislation.
