Case summary
Cartoonist, author of the Mr. Freeman series. In April 2023, he was added to the register of "foreign agents". At that time, the Ministry of Justice explained this decision by the fact that the cartoonist "participated in fundraising in support of Ukraine." On October 18, it became known that Muntyan had been charged with disseminating deliberately false information about the Russian Armed Forces. On September 6, 2024, he was sentenced in absentia to eight years in prison.
