Case summary

Alexei Navalny's wife. After his death, she announced that she would continue his work. In July 2024, she became the head of the Human Rights Foundation organisation. In the same month, it became known that she was arrested in absentia on charges of participation in the activities of an extremist community. In August 2025, State Duma deputy Vasilii Piskarev announced that a case had been opened against the organisers of the opposition march in Berlin on 1 March 2025 (including Navalnaya) for participation in the activities of extremist and terrorist organisations, organising the activities of an extremist community, and calls for extremism.
