Case summary

In September 2024, a criminal case was initiated against an unidentified individual from Yakutia for insulting the memory of the defenders of the Fatherland after urinating on the monument to Richard Sorge in Vladivostok. The Primorsky Krai police published a video on their Telegram channel in which the detained man stated: "I was drunk, I wasn't thinking clearly, I won't do it again, I apologise."
