Case summary

A resident of St Petersburg. On 11 March 2024 it became known that he was detained. A case was opened against him for insulting the memory of the defenders of the Fatherland because, while in the café in the "Mercury" shopping mall, he raised his hand in a Nazi salute and shouted "Heil Hitler" twice. Later the teenager claimed that before this would happen, unknown people approached him and offered to participate in a social experiment. Its goal, according to the young man, was to show that no one would react to such actions. The video with the deed was published on the Internet. The teenager was in custody for some time. On 10 March 2025, he was sentenced to 120 hours of compulsory labour, but taking into account the time he'd already spent in custody, he was released from the execution of the sentence.
