He is a resident of Shumikha in the Kurgan region. On 26 June 2025, the Investigative Committee reported that a criminal case had been opened against him for organising the activities of an extremist organisation due to his involvement with the “Citizens of the USSR”. According to the investigation, he continued the activities of the Interregional Public Movement “Citizens of the USSR”, also known as “Novokuibyshevtsy”, which was banned by the Samara Regional Court in 2022.
