Case summary
A resident of Novotroitsk (Orenburg region). In August 2025, it became known that he was under investigation for desecration of symbols of military glory after a video showing him lighting a cigarette from the Eternal Flame. After his arrest, a video was published in which the young man apologized "to the mothers, wives and children of the Soviet Union's military for desecrating their memory with his act".
