According to the investigation, from March to May 2025, the minor suspect, being in the city of Zheleznogorsk of the Kursk region, using a mobile phone with mobile Internet, in one of the messengers sent a photo containing signs of disparagement of the honour and dignity of veterans of the Great Patriotic War to be placed on the stand of the memorial dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War and participants of the special military operation, as a result of which the photo was placed on the above-mentioned memorial. After that, the perpetrator, while near the memorial stand, saw the photograph he had previously sent among other images of veterans of the Great Patriotic War and participants of the special military operation, photographed the image together with other photographs of veterans of the Great Patriotic War and participants of the special military operation, stored the photograph in the memory of his mobile phone and then distributed it in a channel he had created on a messenger platform, which was available for viewing and discussion by its participants.

In May 2025, law enforcement officers took a statement from him because he had sent a photo of porn actor Billy Herrington, who had become the hero of the "gachimuchi" meme series (referring to images of muscular porn actors that have become internet memes), to be placed on the 'Battle of Kursk' panel for the 80th anniversary of the Victory. In August, a case was brought against him for insulting the memory of the defenders of the Fatherland and humiliation of the honour and dignity of veterans of the Great Patriotic War.
