Case summary
Tomsk resident. In January 2025, a video circulated on the Internet showing a man standing barefoot at the Eternal Flame in the Camp Garden in Tomsk and bringing his hands to the flame. He also jumped over the fire. Because of this, a case was brought against him for desecration of the symbol of Russia's military glory. On 23 June 2025, the court released the man from criminal liability and sent him for Involuntary observation and treatment by a psychiatrist in outpatient conditions
