Case summary

A resident of Bezhetsk (Tver Region), worked as a powerlifting coach. A case was opened against him for dissemination of knowingly false information about the Russian Armed Forces. No later than August 2023, a decision was made to take him into custody. On 28 December 2023, Nevorotin was sentenced to six years in a general regime colony.

On 4 September 2024, Nevorotin was released from serving his sentence due to his state of health, he went free. In January 2025, he died in hospital after approximately two weeks of sedation.
