Alexei Nuriev

According to the investigation, on the night of 11 October he with Nasriyev broke a window on the first floor of the Bakal city administration building and threw two "Molotov cocktails" there. The fire was extinguished by a watchman before the firefighters arrived. The men were detained several hours later. On 13 October, the Central District Court of Chelyabinsk sent them to pre-trial detention centre for two months. Initially, Nuriev and Nasriyev were charged with intentional destruction and damage to property (Article 167 of the Criminal Code), but later the case was reclassified to the commission of a terrorist act by a group of people by prior conspiracy (paragraph "a" of Part 2 of Article 205 of the Criminal Code). The press service of the Federal Security Service Directorate for the region noted that the detainees "are members of several dozen left- and right-wing radical internet communities, including pro-Ukrainian nationalist ones". Then another case against Nuriyev and Nasriyev was brought for training in order to carry out terrorist activities (Article 205.3 of the Criminal Code). A source in security forces told URA.RU portal that the musicians "took courses to carry out terrorist activities. They took the courses via the Internet and by phone. The arson attack on the town hall was a premeditated action".
