Case summary
Resident of Novopokrovka village, previously convicted 3 times for intentional harm to health, battery and destruction of other people's property. He was detained on charges of calling for extremism because of an aggressive video in TikTok in connection with the protests in support of Navalny on 23 January 2021. In June 2021, he was sentenced to two years in a penal colony. On 30 December, Oleinik was placed in a punitive isolation cell for 14 days, after which the colony administration declared him a persistent offender. In 2022, he was transferred to a general regime colony. In the same year, presumably, he was released.
