Case summary

Resident of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District. On 8 April 2025, he was detained, allegedly for drunk driving. According to his common-law wife, he wrote "Putin x*lo" and "Slava U" and put a heart in the medical examination report. A report on public display of extremist symbols (Article 20.3 of the Administrative Code) was drawn up on Ovsyannik, and on 10 April the court sent him to arrest for 13 days. Some statements, which, according to official data, he allowed himself after his arrest while in a police car, became a reason for checking and then for initiating a case on dissemination of deliberately false information about the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. On 14 July 2025, Ovsyannik was taken on his own recognizance. In October 2025, the case went to court. On 19 December 2025, Ovsyannik was sentenced to a fine of three million rubles.
