Case summary

Resident of Novosibirsk. In October 2022, he was detained after being informed that he had been recognized by the cameras. His home was searched. Later Pinigin was released on his own recognisance in the case of discrediting the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation because of painting the inscription "No to War" on a monument. It is known that Alexei Pinigin was among those detained in Novosibirsk at the anti-war action on February 27th. The website of the Novosibirsk Regional Court also has information about the cancellation of the activist's fine of nine thousand rubles: it was imposed because of participation in the action against the war with Ukraine on March 6 under the article on violation of the regime of heightened readiness (part 1 of article 20.6.1 of the Administrative Code) and was cancelled after the removal of "anticoronavirus" restrictions in the region in the summer.
